The First Steps

Our story began in 2004 with the company’s foundation, starting operations in 2005 at the Maia Business Center. The first office, room 307, was small but full of ambition and became the starting point for a determined team. The four founders — Jorge Duarte, Paulo Aguiar, António Dias, and António Murta — defined the mission that still guides us today: to create value for customers through innovative technological solutions.

Growth and Early Achievements

As our activities and portfolio grew, so did our first strategic partnerships and our presence at key IBM and IDC events, which were fundamental to our development as a company.
In 2009, we launched Datapeers, our first product — a data masking platform that ensures the protection of sensitive information and compliance with GDPR. Its success was immediate, and the rapid growth required us to adjust our trajectory. In 2010, we moved to the Lionesa Business Hub, a larger space better suited to the company’s expanding scale. That same year, we created Multipeers, our second product — a real-time information monitoring and management solution, fully adaptable to each business’s needs.

Towards Internationalization

We began our international expansion in 2012, entering the markets of Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and Peru, opening the door to new opportunities and challenges.
We also strengthened our offering with RaaS (Recovery as a Service), a Disaster Recovery solution that ensures business continuity even in critical situations.
It was a period of growth, with an expanding team and many memorable moments — such as the time, in the middle of winter, when we had to buy fans (to the surprise of the salespeople) to cool down servers that were more active than ever!
In response to this growth, our return to the Maia Business Center in 2015 marked a new cycle. We went back to our roots, but with a larger space that we have transformed over the years into the true home of ITPEERS — a constantly evolving environment that reflects our growth and identity.

Innovation and Evolution

Once established, we launched 4Fleets, an extension of Multipeers dedicated to the transport sector, consolidating all information about fleet cost impact in a single platform.
In 2021, we strengthened our investment in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning through a partnership with INESC TEC, which led to the creation of OnlineAIOps, making us pioneers in Portugal in adopting intelligent automation-based IT management. It was also the year we updated our visual identity, introducing a new logo and corporate image while preserving the DNA that has always set us apart.
In 2022, we took another important step with the creation of ITPEERS Brazil, consolidating our presence in the South American market and strengthening our data masking and management offerings, in compliance with the General Data Protection Law.

Recognition and the Future

Over the years, our work has been recognized with distinctions that make us very proud, such as the IBM Public Cloud Partner of the Year award, which we have won consecutively since 2021, and the SME Leader status awarded by IAPMEI, which we have received for five consecutive years.
Reaching 20 years is a milestone that inspires us to keep innovating. We celebrated this achievement with a special teambuilding event, full of shared moments and connection — because technology is made by people, and they are the ones who bring ITPEERS to life every day.
We look to the future with the same ambition that marked the beginning of our journey: to continue exploring, innovating, and creating solutions that make a difference.
